MIDHURST MINIS SEEK 'DIRECTOR OF RUGBY'

The club requires an active volunteer to act as Mini Rugby Manager, to ensure that the Mini Section of MRFC runs efficiently as a single entity, providing a focal point for information about players, fixtures and procedures for all age groups between U7 and U12.

Core responsibilities:

·         Coordinating and maintaining up to date fixture list for MRFC Mini Section

·         Communicating fixture details to coaches and parents and promoting attendance

·         Organising tournament entry

·         Liaising with lead coach in each age group to ensure that:

o   all players are registered with the club and RFU via RugbyFirst

o   coaches are aware of/ complying with current RFU safeguarding standards

·         Working with Mini Coaching Lead to implement coaching improvements across age groups

MIDHURST YOUTH GAIN RFU SEAL OF APPROVAL

 


The Mini and Junior section of the club have been awarded the RFU Seal of Approval, representing the achievement of particularly high standards in coaching, safety and management. John Whitby and Peter Campbell accepted the award certificates from Graham Thompson, the Sussex RFU representative, in a short ceremony at The Ruins.
